Quinterval 2.2

Quinterval is an interactive circle of fifths that features the visualization of the corresponding scales.

Within the circle, users can select a key by either tapping on the tonic or adjusting the slider located at the center. It showcases both the major scale and its parallel minor scale, ranging from F-flat major (D-flat minor) to G-sharp major (E-sharp minor). A second slider allows users to adjust the visible section of the circle accordingly.

Users have the option to choose between German, English, or Italian notations for note names. In the lower area, the related major scale along with its key signature are displayed. The first and sixth steps, accompanied by their respective minor scales, are highlighted. Note display options include G-Clef, C-Clef, or F-Clef, and accidentals can appear before individual notes.

Quinterval offers additional functionalities that can be accessed through an in-app purchase:

• Displaying notes of the parallel minor scale
• Showcasing triads along with their chord names
• Playing back notes by tapping on them
